Diamonds can be found in a wide variety of colors. The G.I.A (Gemological Institute of America) color range goes from Colorless (D) to Noticeably Yellow (Z), having all the grades of yellow in between.

In the Diamond Industry a color scale has been developed using letters, where the “D” is the perfect colorless and most valuable diamond. Colored diamonds (blue, red, purple, yellow, etc.) are called Fancy Diamonds.
